Richard has stepped in as Vice-President as Rev. Marie Phillips and her husband, Chuck, have moved to Florida to be near their grandchildren. He was on the Board as one of our Trustees. . Richard is a realtor and has embraced and been embraced by Center of Enlightenment. Richard is one of Santa's helpers each December across the metro area. He is also an amazing computer technician and has helped CoE with Zoom connections for our Sunday Services.

An Interview with Richard Harrison

Richard Harrison is a local Realtor and member at Center of Enlightenment. He is our Zoom host most Sundays and has taken the position of Vice-President on our Board of Directors.

What brought you to CoE?

I was looking for a Church that believed in Spirituality, and after doing a google search I found the Center of Enlightenment

What brought you returning to CoE?

Looking at many churches in the area, and going to them, I found that the small size of the Church really felt comfortable. 

How do the ministers support you at CoE?

All the ministers have supported me through my joining to become a member and eventually, Board Member and Minister in Training. 

What led you to volunteer on the Board of Directors?

With always wanting to help and improve the member experience, I decided the best way to make some changes that would benefit not just those in the church but others who could not or were too far from the church to still feel like they were in Church. 

What would you say to someone new to CoE?

Welcome to the Family, it's become a second family for me.  Everyone will know your name and welcome you in.
